We approach a family stand on the side of the road. Each member is holding a beverage or snack to hand to the riders. We're moving at a good clip. Bryan reaches out and grabs a bag of potato chips. The woman throws up her hands and cheers at the successful hand-off! Well done. Unfortunately, the near instantaneous acceleration from 0 to 20 mph has rendered the potato chips more like potato dust. Despite their diminished size they are still perfectly salty and greasy however and rapidly consumed.
